Privacy Policy

Effective date: 22 August 2026 · Kailora is a product of Sriggle Private Limited (“Sriggle”, “we”, “us”).

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use kailora.ai, the Kailora web application and the Kailora mobile apps, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with its rules.

Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email, phone, and the business details you register (legal name, GSTIN, address).
  • Books data — the accounting records you create: invoices, bills, parties, bank entries, documents you upload or scan. This data belongs to you; we process it only to run the service you signed up for.
  • Usage data — device, browser, app version and diagnostic logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
  • Payment data — subscription payments are processed by our payment gateway; we do not store your card or UPI credentials.

How AI features use your data

AI features (bill scanning, the assistant) are opt-in per user. Documents you scan are processed to extract accounting fields and returned to you for review; extraction requests are metered against your scan-credit balance. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your books to train models for other customers.

Where your data lives and how it is protected

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS is required) and sensitive fields and tokens are encrypted at rest. Access inside Sriggle is role-restricted and logged. Mobile sessions are stored in the platform's encrypted storage, with an optional biometric app lock.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active, and thereafter as Indian law requires for financial records. You may export your data at any time and request deletion of personal data that we are not legally required to retain.

Your rights

You can access, correct and export your data from within the product; request deletion; and withdraw consents (including AI opt-ins) at any time. Write to privacy@kailora.ai for any request under the DPDP Act.
